FAQ

Online Entry

  1. Who goes on Minute 1?

The last FIVE people to enter get to go on Minute ONE and TWO with Seth. This is either online or on the day. It looks like there won't be many on-the-day entries so we'll manage it as best we can.

An early minute is not the end of the world but, if you feel particularly hard-done by, come and see us in private and we'll harden you up.

Seriously, we don't want anyone to be unhappy... we'll do what we can... but that is the nature of the beast.

  2. I want to be on the same minute as my mates.

We'll do our best. tell us who your mates are when you fill out your entry form AND get them to enter online as well. We'll try and match you all up. Remember, numbers are issued on order of payment, not order of registration.

Your mates will need to enter online as well. The sooner, the better.

    JUST REMEMBER, no guarantees.

  3. Can I enter for a friend

It'd be easier if you didn't. The rough rule is, "one email address, one entry"

  4. I want to enter for more than one event

You'll need to enter each event seperately. Yes, you'll need to type everything in again... but it's still quicker than standing in line in the rain on the morning of the event...

  5. I entered but didn't recieve an email confirmation!

Not the end of the world.

#1. Wait 5 minutes. Sometimes email takes the long way round.

#2. Check your spam folder. All sorts of things get directed that way. I'm sure it's not a conspiracy...

#3. Send an email to office@enduro.co.nz and we'll take it from there.

  6. I paid ages ago but haven't yet recieved an email confirming payment and advising me of my bike number.

That's pretty slack. Honestly. But sometiomes shit happens.

No excuses BUT.... apart from this not being a full-time job... there are problems like the "500 | Server Error" (see next item). This means that emails have hit a bit of a snag. Do not fear, it will all come out in the wash.

  7. I got a "500 | Server Error"!

OK.... that's pretty close to the end of the world.

The server was probably trying to send you an email and got tired of waiting for the mail server. That seems to be happening a bit lately and we're working on it.

Other then that, tell us what you were doing when it happened and we'll check our logs and see if we can work it out.

(Don't you wish that, some days, you'd just stayed in bed....)

  8. You don't have my Hamazuki RW454 in your list of bikes!

OK... all we can say is sorry, and we'll try to fix the situation. In the meantime pick the closest bike (you need to enter one) and then use the text box to tell us exactly what you're riding.

  9. Who else has entered? Can I see a list online?

It's there BUT, if you're looking on a mobile device, it might be hard to find. You might be missing the side navigation that contains links to the list of entries. The easiest way to find it is to display the side navigation by setting to "Desktop Site". Try clicking the 'more options' kebab menu (vertical ellipses?) in the top right corner of your browser window. There might be a setting there for displaying the "Desktop Site".

  10. I need HELP!

Send us an email at office@enduro.co.nz and we'll get back to you asap (e.g. hours, not days)

Include as many details about what went wrong or what help you need

  11. Talk about bugs Trev!

    - Please email us at office@enduro.co.nz. We can't fix what we don't know about.

"It's crap" or "it didn't work" aren't quite enough to go on. Describe as best you can what you did and what happened, along with any error messages that might have appeared.

    Your MNZ licence.

General

  1. Why are there weird bikes in the list of models?

Base list was created by finding all bikes that have done a NZ enduro in the last two years. Some of these enduros have had VINDURO entrants, and one even had some dude on an 1190! Go figure.
